Eisengebrau
More trains today, this time of the miniature variety when I went to the awesome 'Model Rail Scotland 2014' at the SECC Glasgow (some of you may remember I went to the SECC last weekend by mistake after confusing dates!). Lots of fun, wonderful craftsmanship too. Was there for just under five hours until the exhibition closed, could have happily stayed for five more. Scruffy, unfashionable and obsessively keen on a niche subject, I fitted right in! My blip shows part of a layout in HOe gauge called Eisengebrau - a riff on 'Irn Bru'! Constructed by Raven Miniatures, it is a fictitious Prussian rail terminus featuring charcoal ovens that really emit smoke. Spent a lot of time trying to get clear macro shots of small, sometimes moving subjects without using a tripod, with varying results. Difficult choosing which layout to put on blip.
