Old Observatory House

One of the great things about Blipfoto's 365 Challenge is that I get to take a photo sometimes of things I see fairly regularly but don't really know what they are.

So here is Old Observatory House taken from Greenside Place. It is an eighteenth century Gothic style building at the top of Carlton Hill - a holiday let for eight!

I've seen it off and on for 12 years, walked along side it and only today researched what it was. Thanks Blipfoto and Google!
