On the way to Aira Force

My camera started working again this morning after I fully re-charged the battery, and today's blip was supposed to be a shot of Aira Force in full spate. However - it ceased to work soon after this shot from the car park near the force... and my phone wasn't up to the job in the rain.
This shot does sum up the day though! We braved the torrential rain to walk to Aira Force and explore a bit ( well worth the effort & dampness ), called in to Reghed to have a cuppa ( very welcome ), and did a bit of a tour of the villages in the Eden Valley ( not an area we know at all well). At several points the road was well flooded, and at one point we had to back out and do a detour to get back to our friend's house in Cliburn. Safely home now though - and perhaps tomorrow a shopping expedition for a replacement waterproof camera...
