Back to normal, almost.

After a reasonable lie in, at least by my children's standards, we had a lazy breakfast and morning. Carys and I then headed into town on a secret squirrel mission and then on to do the residual homework over a hot chocolate with cream. Daddy and W headed to Stotfold to see Nanna and Poppa and so that W could talk Nanna's ear off about the last few days.

When we got home the children wanted a film and as they have had a few busy days we agreed. Alice in Wonderland was the choice and I left them to it and went for a run.

Both children went to bed with ease tonight. Not as tired as had been expected, but still tired enough for an early night. A lovely end to a lovely half term holiday.
