Carlops Water

The weather forecast said wild, windy and wet. It can be marked 3 out of 3.

When the storm has settled down, we ventured into Edinburgh to visit a friend in hospital. We stopped in Carlops and took Corriedog a small distance into the Pentlands. There was a lot of water around and it all seemed to be in a rush to get off the hills and onto to where it wanted to be.

There were a number of places where the water sat calmly in pools before collapsing over some rocks down to its next place of rest. It made a wonderful noise on its travels.
