Wet, wet, wet..

..but still not as wet as others..

25 mm yesterday, and there are lakes everywhere, drains full and overflowing, and I can now see I've got more work to do to get rid of the flow..

This is looking down onto the top veg plot, the lower end has a ditch dug. from the grass track to the drain is an old stone drain, but it must be obstructed somewhere as the water is still flowing over the top. I'll have to dig this out. At the bottom, the passageway between my croft and A's is flooded, it nearly came over my wellies!!

Dug some parsnips (pre-washed!), and Tanni had a swim in the sea..

Been updating the Scourie website this afternoon, and the fire's lit..

Time for a shower now..
