Woodland Walk

Very blustery today and probably not too sensible to be walking in the woods but I was reliably informed that the woods just up the road from us were awash with snowdrops, so I just had to go; it was true and I was rewarded with a beautiful sight of swathes of Snowdrops everywhere and only the sounds of bleeting sheep and enthusiastic birdsong for company. The woodland doesn't appear to have sustained too much damage from the recent winds although there was alot of brush and branches of Conifer strewn about, but no big trees down. Its been a lovely weekend; why do they go so quickly?? Work already again tomorrow!!
