Old friends

Up early so decided to try and make some headway on my next lab report due on Tuesday. Unfortunately not much progress was made and I spent most of the morning just staring at the screen or finding ways to distract myself.

As it was such a lovely day I decided to abandon my laptop and J and I went to Greenwich park with my mad dog Bentley. He had a good run around, loving being thrown a ball by J (who can throw a lot further than my pitiful attempts) and I spent most of the time snapping away. Got some nice shots of a fallen tree and sun coming through the trees. But as I stood there taking photos of the view, these three caught my eye, old friends chatting away over coffee and a beautiful view. I watched them for a while as they talked to this woman, cooing over the baby, and then laughed at something one of them said. Cityscapes I can get any day but I won't be able to capture this moment again..
