Lazy Sunday - again

I had another quiet Sunday, mainly at home and completely alone. It was a grey day and I inspected the garden without doing any work in it and was pleased to see green shoots in abundance hence the blip of the thrusting lily of the valley, iris reticulus (?), tulips and my mad, bad, bully boy Acanthus. Boy, was it blowing a gale though.

I took in a great little film called 'The Invisible Woman' about Charles Dickens' mistress. It was gentle, poignant, subtly sexy, moving and well acted and I'd thoroughly recommend it. It was a little bit self indulgent on the part of Ralph Fiennes (director and actor both) but I'll forgive him that as I really liked the end result.

It'll be an admin evening preparing for the week ahead. Nothing new there.
