Faded

I'm in Paddington to meet my friend Ann who is visiting from Geneva.

We met in the Hilton, which, unlike most other places in the area, is undergoing a refit.

Over the last few years most areas around London stations have had a bit of revamp. Not Paddington sadly. It's still littered with down at heel restaurants and shops selling tourist tat.

I felt sorry for the masks of Charlie and Phil who have obviously seen better days. Faded in the sunshine, it's been a while since we've seen that as well.
