February Challenge - V

Day 22 of DDW's February daily challenge - V

Our last full day in the US today, and we spent it in San Francisco - "doing the sights". My knowledge of the city was mostly from the 1970's series "The Streets of San Francisco", and apart from the usual developments that you would expect after 40 years, it was as portrayed. Some fabulous street art, steep hills, cable cars, bridges, and views/vistas.

This was the penultimate shot of the day, taken in Chinatown, with lots of verticals for the V for today, and contrasting the new develpoments with some of the older (but pretty well all post 1906) buildings.

Last full day of the big Bliptrip in the US with Annie and Chris (of AnnieandChris, GrahamColling, JuneFox, JohnGravett,matthewlynes and our guide, new blipper KayakTaz. Take a look at the others images for a range of images from around the city.
