Driving to Northampton

Called it an early night last night because I had to wake up at 5 A.M. to drive out to Northampton, MA for a cyclocross race. It's about 110 miles. I'm repeating this drive tomorrow.

This is the Pedro's Team Van. It's pretty tight in that California, I smoked a bag of something, and then put on a Beattles album...

Anyway, was a great day of racing. My Tubulars (see previous posts) survived and this was the ideal course to use them on with all the roots and twisties. I would have surely flatted on a traditional clincher at 30 psi.

Also, I finished in the top 50% Northampton Cyclocross Results, which is good for me.

See, the beers last night did put me back on track.
