In the footsteps of Eric Clapton?

Week ago I bought my very first electric guitar. I hadn't played one before but how hard can it be? I plan to learn this really quick so I can go on world tour in 2015 (you're all invited backstage!)

Actually, the purchase was inspired by a game / learning program called Rocksmith that I happened to read about. It looked like fun so I figured I might as well give it a go... And I do have little experience with acoustic guitar - tough I've never properly learned it.

What I'd REALLY like to learn is sax - but that will have to wait for now.
