Endless mud at Cape North - The Netherlands

My alarmclock buzzed at 05.00am this morning. Rise and shine for a sunrise shoot! The weatherforcasts and the tide looked promising so I went to the most northern point of the Netherlands (Noordkaap) near the Eemshaven. I've had this location in my mind for a long time but never went there. Don't know why, just didn't.
From the moment I arrived until I left the colors in the sky kept on changing, constantly reflecting on the mud flats.
What a great way to start a Sunday.
