Rainy & the Rattlesnakes

Our Public Library seemed like an unlikely venue for this fun music, but we had a blast tonight, watching Rainy (age 10 playing mandolin), her sister Lela (age 13 on the fiddle and their dad, Ray on guitar. The music was Bluegrass, folk, and some original pieces. A couple of them written by Rainy, and quite good!

Ray just arranged a tour across the U. S. to introduce their ensemble. The relationship that they shared was delightful. They were having good old fashioned...knee stompin'...fun! They played over 2 hours tonight. Great stamina for girls so young! If you ever get to see them, don't miss it!
