Male Paradise Shellduck.....paddling

Today we went to Fossil Ridge Winery for lunch.
It was lovely,nestled in the hills of Richmond,where many fossil
stones have been found.....
I took a photo of this New Zealand native duck
on the pond.Love its striking plumage....
