Snow Down Under

My goodness. I want to thank you ALL for your wonderfully kind words & encouragement. If you only knew what a new chum I am, with 51 blips under my belt, & with no fancy camera ! But I do love my garden. It is quite a challenge to stay within the confines of the boundary, especially when I see the extraordinary sunrise on the mountains, the colours on the hills, the mirror surface of the lake, such beauty all around me, the evening light is special too. I just imagine 'A Cycling Granny' out & about in the early mornings, blipping her landscapes & I marvel at how fantastic they are. And I chuckle over little 'Tussock Tails' every day. You know, I have a lovely little bay over-looking the lake & the mountains, not a 2 minute walk from my garden, but I'm determined to stay within my boundary. It is a challenge I have set myself.

Here in Wanaka we have a fabulous group of blippers, all taking amazing photos, & all very supportive so I thank them too.

The most thanks go to Rodger whose 'Tussock Tails' I drooled over for a year, & eventually thought I CAN DO THAT, so joined up & 51 blips later, here I am. It was Rodger who told the reporter.

I do believe it's an extraordinary organisation to be in. It doesn't matter if you're fat or thin, black or white, blue or brown, rich or poor, young or old, vegetarian or meat eating, bald or beautiful, a rocket scientist or a road cleaner, we're all in it together & to help each other. I will say it's a huge time waster !!!!-

I firmly believe as we age, we should (health permitting) keep up with technology because it helps to keep you interested in life, it keeps you stimulated & no one should be bored.

So I do give a heartfelt thanks to you all. I had my 82nd birthday, ten days ago. One of my cards said:-
"Count your blessings and not the candles". I do every day. I have so many blessings to be thankful for. Not least my iPhone !!

I blipped 'Fragrant Cloud' a few weeks ago but I thought it was very unusual to see so many flowers out at the same time so here it is again, with heathers in the background. Had an overnight shower of rain.
