Same window but to the right . . .
Fort William - Scotland, otherwise known as the Gateway to the Highlands and Outdoor Capital of the UK. Today we walked into town to get some groceries, the high-street was virtually deserted at 10.30 though folk started appearing by 11.30
We sat drinking coffee whilst gazing out over Loch Linnhe (that's what we see from the front of our house) and of the 50 or so people we saw passing the cafe window, every single one looked like they'd just walked out of Field and Trek or Blacks, you could only separate the climbers from the locals by the fact that some where carrying shopping bags, walking dogs or carrying library books; entire families from toddlers upwards looking like adverts for Lakeland. At least I won't need to dress up when we go with Merry to the Kilmallie Free Church tomorrow.
