fish & chips

Little did I know what a palaver it was going to be! They were delicious though....beer batter and with proper chips as well. Obviously. I even bought crap, sliced, white bread to make chip butties. So good!

Caroline, Paddy, and the girls loved them :) We had the chocolate and salted caramel cake for dessert, followed by a wee bit of fudge each.

It was Marie-Claire's birthday yesterday so when she arrived she wanted to open her presents from Pierre and me. We got her a chef's hat and apron, two wee glow-in-the-dark dolls, and a packet of her favourite pretzels :) She carried the two little toys round all evening :)

Ireland lost to England in the rugby! No!
