Inspiration please...

This picture is a mindmap I've made today. I have to write an essay about something stupid. Which basically means, write something about a lamp for example. I had no idea how to start writing this because it's hard to choose a topic when you can choose whatever you like (I don't know if this makes sense to you, but that's how my mind works). So for the last few days I've been looking for something that would trigger something inside me, and give me inspiration to write my essay. I've had a few ideas but eventually I realized that I just had to pick one...
So I chose my 'to do' book. It's kind of just a notebook but at the top of the page is says 'to do'. (I suppose that doesn't really sound that great, but I love it!)
As I've said, I haven't really been inspired today. Which means that my inspiration for a photo failed me as well, sorry for that!

I hope my mind doesn't fail me again tomorrow!
