Gnarled

There is a truly ancient chestnut tree (estimated at well over 1000 years) on the Chirk castle estate which has featured a few times in my Blips over the years and once more today, I just liked these three little whorls.

Apologies again about being miles behind with comments, tomorrow I will catch up bit as I now have my computer back and once more a decent screen on which to view colour rather than the insipid nonsense from the laptop screen. The irony of therefore posting a mono is not lost on me.
