Get de-cluttering!

In anticipation of a re-vamped kitchen I have started de-cluttering in earnest.

Well, time for some hard decisions. What do you do with those electrical gadgets you bought thinking that they would make life easier in the kitchen only to discover that they take ages to clean, are very fiddly to put together and use up an enormous amount of room?
After the initial burst of enthusiasm they are relegated sadly to a corner never to be used again.

Who wants them? Not charity shops that’s for sure even though they are in excellent working order.

But there is one that takes electrical goods- Debra, a charity that offers support for people afflicted with a rare skin disease.

In fact they seem to take most things except books but then Oxfam have cornered that niche market.

So a trip into Stirling was called for and that’s where I met Laura, manager of Debra who accepted my unused electrical gadgets.
Laura comes from Barcelona and moved here a couple of years ago because her Spanish boyfriend loves Scotland and the mountains.

Well, which would you choose- Barcelona or Stirling?
