Breaking Bad ...Tilbury style

So, we were up with the lark, jumped in the car and drove to Gravesend.
A quick stroll to see the Pocahontas statue in St Georges Church yard and then hopped on the ferry over to Tilbury Fort - for the history, not to do any business with hoodies, I hasten to add.

It was at Tilbury in 1588 where Queen Elizabeth made her rallying speech to the troops in preparation for the invasion of the Spanish Armada

"I know I have the body of a weak, feeble woman; but I have the heart and stomach of a king, and of a king of England too"....

It's been a beautiful sunny day and once again I didn't need to wear a coat.
