Good friends Good hike

What an amazing weekend with Stephe, Sian and their twins Naomi & Cailtin (whichever is which). We had good food, good wine, good fun, good company and when this photo was taken a good hike. The girls did us so proud, a very very stiff up to the top to join Offa's Dyke. Me and my walking partner will be walking Offa's dyke in the first week of June - and today we buried a plastic tub full of well wishes and love, so that when Paul J and I pass it on our long 8 day hike, we'll be able to see if it's still there and take all that love and inspiration.

The dyke was so windy today, blowing us all over the place. Billie kept leaping on the heather, saying it was so soft and bouncy, and she even brought some back to use as a pillow in the car.

Then it got so cold we decided to the unthinkable, we cut straight down - so steep that we all kept sliding on our bums and laughing our heads off. Caitlin refused to stand up, she practically rolled all the way down. None of us could stop laughing at her.

Then we warmed up in the priory cafe. An amazing day, a fantastic weekend, we're lucky to be blessed with great mates.
