Demolition begins..

Following yesterday's Blip this is as near as I was allowed to the same vantage point. The demolition of the A listed Nairn Linoleum production buildings has begun.

At this stage it is a two crane job, pulling down the building and trying to avoid too much stone work falling onto and damaging the road.

There were at least a dozen photographers out taking similar shots to mine, mainly from an older generation who could remember this as a working building.
