Spring Snow Drops
A lovely walk around the Memorial Park this morning with Helen and Matt her husband. Lots of potential for later in the year but not that much to shoot for most of the walk, although the walk itself was pleasant and it was nice to get out and about.
On the way back to the car there were some nice shadows around the war memorial but what really caught our eyes were the snowdrops and crocus flowers that are erupting around the park nearest the city. Since it was still quite muddy I didn't suffer too much for my art by laying on the ground; instead I let the camera rest on the ground and used a reflector to add a bit of fill light into the image.
