Sunshine and rain

I couldn't sleep this morning so thought I'd get up at 6.30 and go for an early run. Wes chose just that moment to come in the catflap, he jumped up on the bed and was a little damp. I decided to stay in bed.

But by 7, I was thoroughly bored so I did head out. Who can't handle a little bit of rain right?

I ended up going for a lovely long run and the drizzle soon turned to sunshine. So much so that I saw this lovely sight at Portobello Beach about 8.30. You can't have a rainbow without a little rain!

The rest of the morning was spent cleaning, shopping and baking. The afternoon will be studying. Then tonight I'm going out for Andy's birthday.

Not a bad day at all! Hope everyone else is enjoying the sunshine!
