Thank goodness the afternoon bought a relief from the heat. Not sure of the temperature this morning but it was hot.
I was really feeling for the Charity Bike Riders coming down from Tekapo in the howling norwest. They might have had a tail wind but you have to be so careful of the cross winds, as we found out nearly to our cost.
Well done to all who took part, you are all legions.
