BOINK!

Today’s heavy wind gusts played havoc with all outdoor events at the AOG – especially hard hit were sports that included flying. During the final flight of his competition, champion solo daredevil Denny Downy, of Team Woodpecker, was blown off kilter by winds gusting to 60 mph. In this unfortunate accident, his beak was relocated to his forehead and his eyes are a little askew, but Denny assures us that he’ll return to his original handsome self very soon. Although quite shaken, Denny poses for photos out on a limb so his fans can see his feathers blowing in the wind. He’s looking better already!
