A Day Off

I enjoyed a day off today. I had been out to Oban working on Saturday so decided to take today back to have some time with little Amélie. We had breakfast and headed out for a long walk to the library, and exchanged books. We then made our way to the local community centre to take part in the family fun day (mostly African song and storytelling, oh and lunch). I finally got to meet Baby Hope. We managed to get completely soaked on our lunch trudge home, as I carried Amélie on my shoulders with my courier bag on my back, and an umbrella. She carried the box of cakes that I had bought for us. . . she had already had her little Strawberry Tart (this was Joni's).

I had a caramel tart (after boxing ;-)
