Fascinating Find

My son insisted despite the rain that he needed some fresh air today So whilst I was doing my boring accounts he headed out into the cul de sac. After a while he came in all excited over something he had found!

This jawbone with its 7 teeth was lurking in the grass near the fence. A bit of a mystery as to a) what animal it is from (sheep?) b) how it got there (probably carried by a dog!)

He has started to write up a journal in his explorer kit and has cleaned it and measured it up. Wonder if it will spark a career as a naturalist?
