Jay's Wildscapes

Closer and Closer

I've discovered a love of shooting macro on the hoof. Without the hindrance of a tripod. True the shots can be a bit grainy but it's a small price to pay in my opinion. Nature is grunge, grain, texture. True beauty. I love to get down on my belly in the debris of the undergrowth and come up smelling of fungi, rot and new life. Down there I journey with my lens through the micro wildscapes and see through the eyes of bug and beetle. It's a whole new world and I'm scratching at it's multipexed surface.
