Snowdrops

A busy day today as we had our friends from Dunfermline visiting. They arrived at lunchtime, home made chicken soup and bacon butties, and after lunch we took them up to Strathaven for a wander in the cold around Strathaven Park, and then to the hotel for some coffee. Then home and more chat before dinenr, I made lasagne and it was very well received, and then we had an M&S pud, which was lovely.

We have known S & J since we met them in Canada in the '60's and always have great times with them. Between the four of us we solved all the problems of the world; it would be nice if the politicians felt as we do. Always lovely to see S & J, we really enjoyed the day. Lots of laughs and fun.

The weather was a bit mixed, but it didn't matter to us.
