Too many cooks

We decided to make a cake for Mrs B, as she returns from London tonight, and it is her birthday tomorrow. At this point, everything was going ok....five minutes after putting it in the oven I realised we had forgotten the butter!

An attempt to resurrect ultimately failed....resembles a layer of cream and jam between two pancakes!

I should probably have two Blip accounts as I seem to alternate between an attempt at an arty shot, and a family inspired one. That being said, it must be the balance of life at the moment, which can't be a bad thing. Certainly the latter is keeping me sane!
