Here is Monochrome after spending a lunchtime haggling with the staff at John Lewis for a shiny PS3. His boss had agreed to release the funds for this essential man-toy and he was eager to get it before she had a rethink.

This was the moment - after about twenty minutes - when he realised he wasn't going to get it today after all.
