I think it's done....

and to keep on with Fourseasons friday challenge here is the result of spending a large chunk of yesterday painting.....i'll let it sit for a day or two and look at it again with fresher eyes!

Finally we have sunshine....it is spectacular out there! Had a wonderful swim at the pool, lunch at the Bean There...seems to become a bit of a habit....then a visit to the library! Such a difference from the past few days! but of course there is more snow and rain and crap in the forecast! i'm going to enjoy this as long as i can!

I meant to give a quick review of the movie we saw last night! It was fabulous! Cory Trepanier's amazing movie about his trip to the Arctic where he spent 3 months camping, exploring and painting. His goal was to have enough material to create 50 large canvases describing the landscape there! here is a link to his website and you can see he has other movies about his travels. The cinematography was outstanding, and he so totally conveyed the absolutely stunning beauty of that part of Canada. He apparently has completed all 50 images....a few are something like 10-12' x 7' or so! amazing to see him at work!

The pizza was sublime of course!
