Pure, delicate and precious. The snowdrops were out when Henry died. So whilst most people see them as representing new life and the coming of spring, for me they mean the opposite. A reminder, as if we needed any, that Henry's birthday is approaching. A very tough time of year for us that every year I just want to get through.
Visiting my folks in Shropshire for a couple of days. We arrived at lunchtime and popped to Chirk Castle for a walk in the grounds. Then had a fantastic catch up with my old school friends for Helen's bday. Cant remember the last time we went out minus kids and husbands and we had such a good laugh and a lovely meal. Just like old times but different!
