Cuerden Hall bell

On my way back from work this afternoon I stopped off at Cuerden Hall looking for some Spring flowers to Blip today but to no avail.

Wandering around I remembered seeing this bell which has been housed as part of the wishing well structure near the cafe.

Looking for information about the bell on the web, according to the Preston Historical Society's website this bell was originally the staff bell but can't find more information than that.
