Winter holidays started
Our annual one week winter holiday started today. I don't remember have we ever had as little snow in week 9 as we have now.
Me and Sami had our day walk in Lentävänniemi. Cloud layers were a bit thinner and a slight shimmer of the sun could be observed. I noticed that the ice in Näsijärvi lake has almost any snow so it was very slippery to walk there. We also searched and logged one geocache near a water spring. It's surprising how very modest water puddle produces so much water to the stream.
Most of the Finns are a bit down, because our ice hockey team crashed out of the Olympic tournament today, losing 2-1 to Sweden. Finland now go on to play for the bronze medal against the USA or Canada.
-2° C, cloudy
