Sue's Eye View

Saphie (2)

Hubby and I were woken at 04.12 with a screaming, howling noise from downstairs. Believing Saphie had, yet again, brought in a mouse we trundled down stairs to save the poor thing. However it wasn't Saphie but another cat! How this cat got through our chip protected cat flap we didn't know. Upon investigation it was obvious the feral cat had smashed his way through the flap and destroyed it.

So, it was a trip to pet shop first thing for a new cat flap which I've successfully installed. Let's hope this doesn't happen again.

OK, some exciting news for hubby and I ......... we've exchanged contracts on a house in Mallorca. We've booked our flights, car hire, the house sitter and will soon be completing in front of the Notary.

This project has taken us nearly 7 months with many hurdles to get over, but it looks like finally we've done it. My stress levels yesterday were at breaking point and when I got the news this morning, that we had exchanged contracts, I burst into tears with relief.

So this evening we're going to have a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

Cheers everyone and have an enjoyable weekend.
