I Saw Three Swans

These three had flown on to Nanpantan Reservoir this morning. A pair and a yearling according to my informant who was trying to keep two excitable spaniels under control. Basil took it all in his stride of course. Talked about it to fisherman on the way round. He hoped they'd take off somewhere else. Big birds seen as a nuisance, disturbing fish and fishing lines. No one has a good word to say for the Canada Geese. As bad as pigeons and seagulls for leaving their shit everywhere.
