Barton Marina

After only a couple of hours sleep my mum turned up for a quick overnight visit. We had a drive to the nearby Barton Marina where we were hit with a mixture of sunshine and showers, and enjoyed a buttered scone and cappucino before oohing and ahhing over shoes. Got back to the house for a home cooked fish tagine with preserved lemon and mint and then did an about turn and headed out to the Lichfield Garrick studio theatre where we watched a fantastic play called God of Carnage. It was hilarious and well worth a watch. :-))
