Shivering Timbers!

Another chilly but lovely and bright day. Caught this just as the sun was going down, along at the old boats. Piles of old ships' timbers in amongst the winches, decaying boats, creels and ropes, all over grown with long grass. You never know what you will stumble upon!

Was supposed to be typing up the minutes of last week's committee meeting this morning but decided to scrub - yes, scrub - the kitchen floor instead! Looks lovely and clean, a damp cloth just doesn't have the same effect! This afternoon I couldn't put it off any longer and not only typed up the committee meeting ones, but the AGM ones too. Felt very self righteous and such a sense of relief to get them done too! Had a well deserved glass or two of red to celebrate!
