Magpie mum and kid

Visitors to our backyard almost daily. We often hear the baby squaking then we know they are here for some food. The parent shoving food into its beak, a bottomless pit, eventually the parent grabs a large portion of whatever is on offer and takes off with the youngster in close perssuit.
