In a rush?
Despite an early start to Kilmarnock this morning - after the welcome chance to mark the passing of the legislation last night - I was tight for time to get to my meeting. Traffic was very slow at points. But made it and had a very constructive and informative morning with NHS Ayshire and Arran.
With Maureen from the ICO's office we were discussing the practice and governance issues arsing out of the legislation and what needs to be done to prepare. Also exploiting their views on where the balance might lie between orders, guidance and best practice. No immediate answers and start of a series of numerous discussions we will be having with various groups over the coming months.
On my way in through the vast car park to the maternity unit ( where our meeting was taking place in a seminar room) I was struck not only by the fact that access into the unit from that car park was not very easy, especially if about to give birth, but that a single trainer was lying there (bottom right). Pace too hectic? Modern day Cinderella ?
I'll never know. It is not as if the shoe was hidden.
Then back to the office to catch up on the backlog of emails, cheered by the curling news.
