Time Traveler

Today has been a rather strange day, although technically it all started last night. I found my self watching a program on BBC 3 that was a look back on the 'Noughties' (i.e. 2000 - 2009) in the form of the ever popular (and cheap to produce) clip show with talking heads. The problem I had was that I'm still pretty certain that we're living in that decade.

Having a group of low level celebs talking about the 'credit crunch' (a term I personally hate), celebrity culture, the death of Michelle Jackson and High School musical in the past tense and showing video clips that had been treated to make them look older was slightly unnerving.

However, the whole process did seem to fit the essence of the decade: wrapping it up, packaging it and selling it back as nostalgia before we've even reached 31st december 2009 is very fitting.

The whole time traveling malarky was further compounded by spending the day working on a 2010 prospectus for a client and having another commission us to produce their 2011 holiday brochure.

The world seems to be moving very quickly at the moment.
