Fiery Sunset

Water aerobics today was a real killer. We had a new teacher who I think thought she was training us for the armed forces. When we emerged my friend and I were so exhausted we had lost the ability to talk and we silently made our way in the pouring rain home.

I have to confess that I had a quick nap in the afternoon and, feeling refreshed made my way to the seafront as the sun, that had miraculously appeared, was setting. I managed to shoot a number of photos as it disappeared into the sea.

Youngest son chose the first photo taken when the sun was at its highest as the most dramatic for the Blip tonight, so I have followed his advice.
