.... and looked left to the Swiss/French border with views of Les Jumelles (the Twins Peak) and the Grammont to the right. They are too steep and dangerous for winter ascents except by real mountaineers but in the summer they are brilliant summits with views right along Lake Geneva.

In large you can see the steep cliffs on these mountains.

Thanks for the spotlight of the flower trapped in a spider's web yesterday, it is still there, unchanged.
