Friends

A month ago I set off in pouring rain for a lunch date down in Sussex. When I arrived I was the only person who had ventured out! The rest of them decided the flooding was too dangerous. My host and I enjoyed our lunch a deux but a new date was made. Today, despite a wet morning, they all made the trip and we had an excellent meeting. Our host (on the right) has only recently moved into her home with her husband, so we had a conducted tour and approved of her move. The next lunch is at my house, so I'll be getting the recipe books out.
