Shelters, Jupiter Urban Wildlife Park, Grangemouth
Having had two relatively long walks in the past two days, I decided to take things a bit more leisurely today. As I had often seen signposts for the Jupiter Urban Wildlife Centre when driving near Grangemouth, I thought I'd drop by and have a look.
It is a small park, developed on the site of an old railway yard, designed to encourage the growth of various wild plants as well as provide a habitat for birds and insects, all within a post-industrial environment.
It was very much wearing its winter garb today, but I came across these shelters when having a wander around the woodland area of the park. Definitely worth a return in spring and summer.
